The Cook's Lounge
To create this full 3D scene, individual 3D objects were designed and "IToo Software's" Rail Clone plugin for 3Ds Max was used. The walls, kitchen equipment, bar and its lighting, floor and radiators were all put together using the Rail Clone plugin. For the placement of the windows and door the new RC SPLINE feature was very helpful.
For more realistic reflections and shadow creation, a small outdoor world was created. For this, the Forest Pack plugin, which also comes from "IToo Software", was used.
Rail Clone and Forest Pack became our standard tools after the first use. Their use opens new ways in the field of design and visualisation. The simple and user-friendly interface of these plugins allows a very efficient way of working.
Other models and objects used in this scene were partly created in-house and others were acquired and used from various online platforms.
Substance Painter was used for texturing the self-designed models.
The new tyFLOW Plaugin for 3Ds Max was used to fill the food (coffee, sugar, pasta, sauce, apples, potatos etc.) into the respective containers. Also all textiles and covers of the shelves were created with this plugin.
And finally the scene was rendered with VRAY 5 Render Engine.
All colour adjustments and corrections were done using only the new VRAY 5 VFB colour correction features without the use of Adobe Photoshop.
